Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using HuzzahFinder ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What HuzzahFinder is — and isn't

HuzzahFinder is an educational research tool for collectors of military antiques (roughly 1850–1950). Identifications, era estimates, value ranges and counterfeit red flags are produced by AI and community contributions and are research assistance only. The Service is not a professional authentication, appraisal, legal or insurance service. Always consult a credentialed expert before buying, selling or insuring an item.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You must comply with all laws applicable to you, including laws on the sale, possession and display of military memorabilia and restricted symbols.

4. Restricted symbols & regional compliance

Some items in our scope (e.g. Third Reich insignia) carry symbols whose public display, sale or possession is restricted in certain jurisdictions, including Germany and Austria (StGB §86a and equivalent provisions). HuzzahFinder shows such imagery in a strictly historical and educational context. You are responsible for ensuring your own use, sharing or redistribution of any content from the Service complies with the laws applicable to you.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of photos and information you upload. By submitting them you grant HuzzahFinder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process the content for the purpose of operating the Service, improving identification quality and — where you contribute to the public library — showing it to other users.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, promotes hatred or violence, or glorifies regimes or atrocities. We may remove content and suspend accounts at our discretion.

6. AI accuracy & no warranty

The Service is provided as is and as available. We make no warranty that identifications, dates, attributions or value estimates are accurate, complete or current. Market values fluctuate and are indicative only.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuzzahFinder is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from purchases, sales, valuations or authenticity decisions made on the basis of information from the Service.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
